Our paramotor foot-launch training takes 8 days, weather and student skills permitting. We follow the USPPA (United States Powered Paragliding Association) syllabus for being the most complete paramotor training program available worldwide. The first 2-3 days, the student will learn terminology and maintenance of the complete gear, basic meteorology (weather to fly), aviation regulations, inflation techniques (forward and reserve) with and without the paramotor on student’s back, ground school on flight patterns and landing procedures. Once a student has mastered these techniques and has a clear understanding of the flight procedures, then another tandem flight with an instructor will take place followed by the student’s first solo flight (usually on the 3rd or 4th day of training). First couple of solo flights will last approximately an hour so student gets confident with the equipment and his / her skills. Then instructor and student will focus on repetitions; take-off, one lap and landing. As many short flights the student can manage in the remaining days of training. The average student ends with 15-20 solo flights by the end of the course.

Students must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals) and comfortable clothing; a t-shirt and shorts are acceptable. Sunblock, hat and plenty to drink. It is also suggested to bring a change of clothes for as the first days are more physical than when student is already flying after first solo.
